Art Time! @KydVenture is a vibrant, hands-on art program designed to inspire young artists of all ages to explore their imagination and express themselves through painting, clay, drawing through art classes for kids near me. Our 1 project per week timelines introduce kids to a variety of artistic mediums in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment — all within the playful world of KydVenture. With age-appropriate art classes for toddlers to tweens, each session is packed with creativity, color, and confidence-building experiences. Whether your child is discovering art for the first time or is ready to dive deeper into their creative journey, Art Time! is the perfect place to spark a lifelong love for the arts.

Tiki Creations
Island scoop studio
To celebrate the start of summer, our artists will ‘shave’ their own tropical treats—no freezer required! After custom-designing their own souvenir cone templates, students will get to work with a fun, sensory-filled techniques. From 'Rainbow Rush' to 'Mango Madness,' these colorful creations look good enough to eat! It was the perfect, sweet finale to our island-themed month. Stay cool!

Lei Of the day
This week, our studio will be transformed into a tropical garden as our young artists craft their very own 360° Paper Leis! This project is a wonderful introduction to 'paper engineering' and 3D design. Rather than just cutting out flat shapes, our students will learn professional paper-curling techniques—using pencils and scissors to give their petals a realistic, life like curve that pops from every angle

Tropical Fish Weaving
Check out these vibrant catches! This week, our artists will use scissors, glue, and watercolors to create these stunning Woven Reef Fish. We’re teaching our students how to engineer their own paper looms to practice coordination and patternmaking. The results? A classroom full of tropical colors and very proud artists! It’s the perfect way to start closing our Aloha-themed June.

Parrot Paradise
Our studio will take flights this week as we create vibrant, 3D Bright Beaked Birds! This project focuses on the beauty of tropical wildlife and the skill of texture building. Students will use acrylic paints to master color blending on their bird's body, then engineer individual fringe-cut' feathers to create realistic, layered wings. These tropical feathered friends are the most colorful residents of our island reef!

KV ART TIME! APRON & Baby tee
All students ages 4 and up are required to have a KydVenture Apron for class. Children ages 3 and under are required to wear an oversized white cover-up tee. Both are $15 and can be purchased online or in our Pro Shop. Stop in before your first class or order online—we’ll have it ready for you in the Art Room!
