Art Time! @KydVenture is a vibrant, hands-on art program designed to inspire young artists of all ages to explore their imagination and express themselves through painting, clay, drawing through art classes for kids near me. Our 1 project per week timelines introduce kids to a variety of artistic mediums in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment — all within the playful world of KydVenture. With age-appropriate art classes for toddlers to tweens, each session is packed with creativity, color, and confidence-building experiences. Whether your child is discovering art for the first time or is ready to dive deeper into their creative journey, Art Time! is the perfect place to spark a lifelong love for the arts.

Pout Pout Fish!
Turn that frown upside down -agamograph
Watch the magic happen as Mr. Fish transforms! Using a special folding technique, your artist will create a kinetic 3D picture that shifts from a "glum-glum" pout to a "kiss-kiss" grin as you walk by. It’s a spectacular way to explore how our expressions—and our moods—can change in a splash.

Deep Sea Mystery -oil scratch art
Travel to the "Big-Big Dark" with this glowing under-the-sea masterpiece. Students will layer vibrant oil pastels and deep ocean "ink," then use special tools to scratch away and reveal a hidden, shimmering world of coral reefs and secret sea creatures beneath the surface.

Jiggling Jellyfish -Salt & Glue Art
Meet Mr. Jelly in this tactile, "saltsational" project! We’ll use the science of absorption to create textured, sparkling jellyfish. By tracing swirling tentacles with glue and salt, then adding bursts of watercolor, students will watch the colors travel and bloom like magic across their page.

Pout Pout Pal - Clay Sculpture
Bring the ocean’s most famous face to life in 3D! Using air-dry clay, little sculptors will mold their very own Mr. Fish, complete with his signature "puckered-up" pout and textured fins. These charming figures are perfect for sitting on a shelf to remind everyone that "friends help friends—that's a promise we keep."

KV ART TIME! APRON & Baby tee
All students ages 4 and up are required to have a KydVenture Apron for class. Children ages 3 and under are required to wear an oversized white cover-up tee. Both are $15 and can be purchased online or in our Pro Shop. Stop in before your first class or order online—we’ll have it ready for you in the Art Room!
